Christina Garsten new principal at SCAS

Christina Garsten has been appointed new principal at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS). She succeeds Björn Wittrock, who was one of the three founding directors of the Collegium. Garsten will take office on 15 August, 2018.

Niklas Zennström named Alumnus of the Year

The title of Alumnus of the Year 2015 at Uppsala University is being awarded to IT entrepreneur Niklas Zennström, current CEO of the investment firm Atomico. He receives the award for his work in climate change and his entrepreneurship.
